Job Description:
IOS Partners IOS Partners provides domestic and international aviation consulting services to airports, airlines, civil aviation authorities and government entities worldwide. As part of our long-established and growing Aviation Practice, we are offering immediate opportunities for motivated and diligent business development experts, preferably with aviation experience and strong writing and communication skills to work alongside our Senior Aviation Team in Business Development and Project Management.
Main duties:
- Identify and investigate market opportunities for potential new projects in the areas of Aviation, Transport, and Infrastructure as well as other areas of potential business.
- Work closely with the in-house Aviation Team to expand the company’s portfolio of aviation projects and its network of collaborating organizations and consultants.
- Proactively communicate with technical experts, partner firms, existing and prospective clients, and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct research and due diligence, scope analysis, and competitive landscape investigation.
- Manage correspondence and other communication with consultants and partners.
- Lead the preparation of persuasive, responsive and visually appealing Expressions of Interest and Proposals for consulting services projects in aviation and infrastructure, including outreach to experts and partners as well as the development of methodologies, work schedules, and draft budgets.
- Ensure quality and timely submission of all bids.
- Manage and participate in the implementation of aviation sector projects in accordance with the company’s growth objectives and development strategies.
- Provide technical support with aviation data collection, processing and analysis.
- Support the Aviation Team in client relations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks.
- Travel upon request and attend meetings with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to other business development and project management activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- University degree in Aviation Management, International Relations, Political Science, International Business, Economics, or related subjects.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar position
- Understanding of procurement websites (multilateral & Governmental)
- Excellent command of English, Spanish and or French (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Portuguese would be an advantage.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- High computer literacy (MS Office).
- Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under strict deadlines.
- Ability to manage workload, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
- Detail oriented and proactive.
- Global outlook, affinity for travel, and multicultural skills.
